Many Administration communale are now interested in NFC objects as information terminals for citizens. The expensive digital sign (from CHF 25,000 to nearly CHF 100,000 each) is giving way to NFC domes to share all the useful information with residents and visitors:

• Municipal notices
• Contact details for the community center and the various services
• Calendar of events, communal meetings, demonstrations
• Calls to the population, volunteers
• Emergency numbers
• Access to the commune’s digital newspaper
• Interactive map of defibrillators
• list of shops, craftsmen, hotels and restaurants

Several information points can be made available in the community. Once scanned, access to the dome can be registered on the phone for access at any time.
